I have ectomorph body type, and like many it’s hard to gain weight, we burn calories just by breathing alone. I’ve tried multiple mass gainer and i will try to explain the difference of this product1. Flavor, it’s not too sweet, just perfect. I don’t like sweet food but i do love sweet people who upvote reviews :)2. Consistency, its smooth and not thick so its “easy to swallow” (that’s what she said)I just finish a small bag just to try before buying the big one, so far i gained 14.4 lbs (2-3 lbs/week)Remember this is a supplement not meal replacement. The way i take this is1 scoop as soon as i wake up1 scoop before work out1 scoop after work out1 scoop before going to bed.Reminder, this product contains maltodextrin, if you have diabetes or have blood sugar problem, i highly suggest cut the serving in half. And take this after your actual meal because it will make your tummy full, so i highly recommend eat first before taking it, like i said it’s a supplement not meal replacement.Anyone wanting to buy this product needs to know a couple things:1) Taste and texture profile is subject to opinion. Everyone is going to have different opinions on how this product tastes and it's texture.2) The product serving size is NOT misleading. You simply need to read the product description. There are indeed 49 SERVINGS per bag BUT a single serving is 550 calories, not 1100 calories. The 1100 calories on the nutritional facts part of the bag equates to TWO SERVINGS PER DAY. NOT ONE SERVING PER DAY. This is printed on the front of the bag directly under where the company prints the calorie content. That being said, people that think the whole bag is 16 servings can't do basic math and sounds like they need something to complain about. 49 SERVINGS/bag and taking that 2x/day = 1100 calories. 49 divided by 2 does NOT equal 16. It's roughly 24 servings. If you can't figure that out you suck at basic math.3) Do I think the product tasted good? Yes. Do I like that it's 1,100 calories for 2 servings? Yes. The scoops aren't huge like other mass protein shakes. Some are just to big and to much on the stomach. But I also don't drink it fast so I don't get a carb overload which can cause a upset stomach to. I bought the strawberry banana and I like to peanut butter powder in my protein shake for more protein( I add 6 scoops which is 24g of protein on top of the protein in the shake). I looked at a lot of gainers on amazon, Rivalus, GNC pro performance, Mammoth mass, All max nutrition, Optimum nutrition, Naked mass, Muscle tech, Six star to name a few, only a couple of them stood out from all the others mainly because of price for what you get and amount of sugar in them, I chose mutant mass since it was on sale (mammoth mass looks good too) and I’m not sorry, I have a single scoop shake in the morning and maybe one later at night if I’m feeling hungry but don’t want another meal and have added 13 pounds with out making any other adjustments to my diet or daily routine. This is a great gainer tastes good with water, better with milk tho (I had chocolate). Hope this helps people looking for gainers.I've got a tried and tested routine but my normal brand was out of stock (not promoting any other brand but it's the O N Serious Mass - 5k). I have a small breakfast but a huge dinner over 2000 calories. I usually take two shakes a day and I tend to put on weight both visibly and on the scale. When using this brand, I lost weight in the first two weeks and have since plateaued at 5kg lighter. This shake can not be 1100 calories as there is no weight gain on the scale or visibly. I'm an ex pro and need a lot of calories to maintain / gain weight due to my naturally high metabolism. I will not be buying this brand again and I'm pretty annoyed I've lost 5kg in less than a month to be honest.I've been using Mutant Mass when bulking for the last 5 years starting with the first formula up to the previous, ran out and got the new latest version. My thoughts? either i have a bad batch or they have messed things up so bad i wont be using it any more! it's gone from being tasting chocolate to a sickly sweet artificial taste like a bad sweetner? it's supposed to have less carbs from simple sugars and better carb profile by adding sweet potato which i thought was a great idea! sadly this isnt working for me and after shaking up the bag, hoping it would maybe help mix up the ingredients better I have given up and thrown the bag in the bin as i just cant drink it! I hope they get enough feedback to change things.I never ever have left a review but this time I will make an exception, I been lifting weights and had many weight gainers for years but never ever have a come across a more foul smelling and tasting weight gainer in my life omg. I bought the 6kg tripple chocolate flavour. I struggle to even put into words the smell it smells like chemicals and a horrible off smell to it and tastes the same it is literally undrinkable, I put 3 scoops in whole milk and gipped more then I ever have in my life trying to drink the whole thing. Once I drank it I had stomach ache for one hour after finishing it literally cannot drink this its absolutely foul. And believe me I never care to leave rewiews and I'm not a picky eater or drinker I usually can stomach anything but this is literally like drinking poison wowI bought this as a try out to replace Weider's mega mass 4000 which went up in price and I have been using for years. Now.. This does not come anywhere close... It is about 30% sugar.. Which you will definitely feel if you have more sensitive stomach.. Put it simply... This in my opinion is not a good weight gainer.. And not worth the money..
