Its ok for protein but I use the brand anyway if I'm looking for some easy protein to add.A little sweet so I mix 2 cups at a time using 1 scoop of this vanilla and 1 of unsweetened vanilla. I blend in blueberries, banana, kieferThis type of Spiru-tein is great when you want different flavors. I can make a chocolate, peanut butter or fresh berry from the unflavored and unsweetened mix. I have used this while on the Keto diet for a boost in the afternoon or for a Keto "dessert" with strawberries and blueberries. I also can control my own sweetness with healthy sugar substitutes like Agave or stevia.I like the productOnce you begin drinking Spiruteen there’s nothing to compare. I especially like the unsweetened as I add my own fruit and there’s no sugar but natural sugar.We buy both, the regular and the unsweetened. Very difficult to find in stores and so far very satisfied with Amazon delivery. Tried to purchased from another online service which was a bit cheaper but the container seal arrived broken and powder spread all over the box.I wish the price was more reasonable.great product. mixes great with alternative milksI use large amt ice when making smoothies and I add fruits to it as well. (mixed in my ninja..no fake sweeteners and no stevia.. thats why I choose this one. My husband also really likes it..I used to drink a lot of protein shakes when I was weightlifting 10 years ago, and have recently decided to buy them again for a quick breakfast. I was surprised how many of my old favorites now use stevia. I cannot use stevia, it makes me nauseous and gives me headaches. Then I found this one. It is VERY plain, which is fine. I just add my almond milk and a tablespoon of maple syrup. If I was more ambitious and pulled out my blender, this would mix great with some berries or bananas, but I am not there yet. Highly recommend if you want a protein powder without stevia. I wish this company would make more flavors of this kind than vanilla and chocolate, but I can work with it.Delicious and not too sweet. Great product.
