We have three large dogs and these are the best bones I have ever given to them. The do not have a strong odor yet the dogs love them. I give each dog one bone about once every 2 or 3 weeks. After the coating on them has been chewed off the bone stays around and the dogs will go back to them again and again over the couple of weeks till I throw it out and start over. They never splinter or get sharp edges so I'm not afraid one of the dogs will swallow a sharp piece.I highly recommend these bones.
