This brand has a hardness scale which I like.Churro (2 hardness)Yum (3 hardness)Standard Hard cheese chew (8 hardness)Coconut Cheese bone (4 hardness)My dog loves all of them but the churros are eaten in seconds, the yums he plays with for a day and then finally chomps down the thing in a minute or two. This coconut bone and the hard chews he basically carries around like a prized possession for months. Regular hard chews worry me when he gnaws at them. It sounds like he’s going to crack a tooth. I like that this coconut bone seems gentler on the teeth. I honestly have no idea how much softer the coconut bone really is or how long it would last if he actually ate it. I can’t really dig a fingernail into it and its rigid and solid. I wish I could find it in a smaller size because it’s huge and probably why he’s not actually even trying to eat it. He’s a 21 pound terrier mix. I would buy again, and he looks very cute when he carries it around.
