They are delicious and fun for parties or having guests over.Want some bugs?I'm a fan of novelty foods. This would be a good starter for people experimenting with insect-based foods. You have to look to see the mealworms, and they don't change the texture. My only complaint was that the batch I got was overdone. Just this side of burnt. Still worth it, though!These were some of the best tasting meal worms that I have ordered on Amazon. I bought these to give to my fourth grade students after they wrote a persuasive essay about whether or not people should be eating bugs. Almost all of the students who ate the bugs really enjoyed these. They were sweet and sticky like a candy. One minor problem was that they tended to clump up (like brittle) which left bits of mealworms broken and crumbly on the bottom. This is a great product to ease into eating bugs!Taste great disappointed in the size a burnt flavor at the end I think mine just got burned in cooking couldn't taste bug at all would order this again if they made prices reasonableAs for how bugs go, pretty good! The flavoring is not what I expected but it is not badTaste is very good! Just like your regular peanut brittle with a really good coconut flavor along. I could eat the whole bag in a second because it tastes so good and literally because the product amount is ridiculously small. I would definitely want to order more but not for the price they are at. (Not sure why all bug products are so high in price.)If you love trying new foods - start here with these insects. I first tried these when I visited San Francisco and discovered Don Bugito in the Ferry building and that was over 4 years ago. These bugs are amazingly delicious.Wish it came in a larger quantity.
