I have tried all of the Primal Spirit jerkies as well as several similar brands, and this is by far my favorite - perfectly smokey, savory & sweet with a mice texture. Even my meat-eating friends and picky 4-year-old like them. They are a bit saucy/sticky and can get stuck between my teeth, but that doesn't detract for me; they are just so tasty and a nice occasional indulgence.These are perfect for snacks on the go! I've become addicted. Keep them in my go-bag for disaster response. Easy to pack and delicious!I'd rather enjoy these due to the strong spice level that they produce. They are definitely hot and spicy and very tasty.I’m an old time vegan and this brand my favourite for yearsBest jerky I've ever had. Awesome flavor, and nice & soft (not hard like all the others). The only kind I eat now.I've tried a few different vegan jerkys and this (Primal Spirit) is by far the best. Texture and taste is similar to beef jerky. Only complaint is it's quite sticky on your fingers. Fix that and they'd get 5 stars.Good Taste and Texture, I’d purchase again but the price has risen $10 in one month. With that increase it doesn’t feel like a deal anymore. My friends who do eat meat like the flavor but not the texture or the moistness. This is my favorite flavor of all the Primal Jerkys.I’m impressed. Great impulse buy. The hot and spicy is neither. It’s still good though. Probably a good thing for those who don’t care for the heat.It did take over a month to deliver but apart from that it’s perfect and I want to keep ordering.They taste amazing and the texture is perfect, it doesn’t get stuck in your teeth like other tender vegan jerky’s I’ve tried and it leaves you satisfied and not feel the need to eat more after, even though it’s very delicious.My favourite jerky so far (I’ve tried many different brands). I highly recommend!I love these bars. As a vegan they give me a nice low calorie snack that is packed full of protein. I love this taste and the chewy wheat protein texture. It may be a bit of an acquired taste but I've been eating them for years and loving it. At just under 100 calories it feels that you're having something a bit more substantial. The hickory smoked is one of my favourite of the 6 different flavours available.I've tried all of the Primal Spirit strips, they all taste quite reasonable (as vegan jerky goes!), but the Seitan type is easily the nicest texture. Of the two seitan strips they do, the Thai Peanut is more to my taste than the Teriyaki flavour. Certainly a lot better than the shitake mushroom strips, and more pleasing than the soya (though the soya bars are good).Imagine eating a long dead corpse's flesh only a very delicious corpse with extra BBQ sauce and that is pretty much what this tastes like, very good product and good value for money, the only thing is I bought the retail pack of 24 and need a new flavour before I can finish this one as the flavour is so rich I am getting a bit sickened by it, would buy again as long as one of the other flavours is not better.These are absolutely great, love the texture and taste, just like the original (softer) meat jerky but without the meat, just tear a bite n chew, not too hard and not too soft.
