I like these worms. The following are qualities these worms have that the China sourced worms don't:1. They smell like worms, not like toasted cereal2. They are huge/heavy - each worm has the volume of 3 or 4 of the China sourced worms and feels like it weighs much more than that.3. They're almost soft. Hard to explain, but they bend a little before they crunch and then they don't shatter into a zillion shards like the China sourced worms.4. They have innards - when I break one open there are guts inside. The China sourced worms are completely empty little shells.Because these worms are bigger/heavier - you get less volume than the China sourced worms, which means purchasing more often at the higher price. Since I eat the eggs that come out of my chickens, I want better feed and will pay the extra.Also, I strongly feel (feelings aren't facts, I know, but bear with me) that it is less likely that these worms will give my chickens kidney failure. Feeds from China (for all animals, not just chickens) have a tendency to be constantly getting sued for that. Check out Purina - they pretty much don't have a year without a class action suit for dog/cat food. If they are willing to do that to dogs/cats, just what do you think they're doing to your birds?
