I love these pistachios way more than any person should. Pistachios have never been the cheapest nut...but the flavor of these chili roasted pistachios is so good I buy them regularly. The pleasure they add to any meal is always worth the extra price. I use them in a variety of ways. For example, microwave pasta (Barilla 7oz premade but any brand will do) and a can of Wild Tuna brand red kidney and corn salad with 2 tbsps of pesto (Rao's or whatever brand you like) a handful of Wonderful Pistachios and top with shaved Parmesan Reggiano and boom, lunch/dinner has taken a step up and it took all of 1 minute to make. Win, win, no dishes but the bowl and fork you've used. And the pistachios add just the right touch of depth to bring out the flavor of the tuna, the cheese and the pasta. Oh yeah. But I also use them as a topper to vanilla ice cream. And I do mean the chili variety. It adds a salty sweet spicy gentle punch to the otherwise beautiful but predictable vanilla. Just chop up a handful and sprinkle to your delight. But mostly I just try not to open the bag. Cause once I do - I can't control myself.
