This white kidney bean extract works as well as the pre packaged capsules available elsewhere on Amazon. But at half the cost, a no brainer! I am diabetic, and I use the white kidney bean exact (phaeseum vulgaris) to reduce sugar spikes when I eat starchy foods. A secondary benefit is that I have lost some weight too! If you're doing a large quantity at a time, I recommend a capsule filler. Or you can just take 1/2 teaspoon sprinkled in your food or drink. Easy peasy!If I get a capsule filler, I will post pictures. Capsules ARE more convenient.Update : 5/30/18I still use this product and I am still satisfied. I have given up filling capsules, so, 1/2 teaspoon with each starchy meal or snack. Keeps the blood sugar from spiking and I eat quite normally!Update 08/18Still using the product with great results, but skipping the capsules entirely. Too much bother!Update 4/2019Still using ! This is excellent for us carboholics! I'm diabetic & this prevents sugar spikes when I induge in bread, pizza, etc.
